About
Greenhurst has been a nursery and gardening benchmark in the Treasure Valley since 1973, but that’s only the beginning. Greenhurst is well known for its variety of interior and home decor; everything inside and out featuring leading names in gifts, furniture, home accents, children’s boutique, gourmet foods & utensils, and bath accessories.
Greenhurst Nursery began with LeRoy Blickenstaff and his son Mike erecting the original buildings in the Fall of 1972. On March 19th, 1973, LeRoy and Mike opened their doors for business. A general line of nursery stock was carried that first year and some landscaping was done. From the start the goal was clear: build the business by offering only the finest materials and personalized service. In 1981 LeRoy retired. Mike and Marilyn have assumed ownership of Greenhurst ever since.
Today Greenhurst is one of the most diversified garden centers in Idaho. Greenhurst is known for having one of the finest retail facilities in the Northwest. Our reputation for offering exceptional plant materials and supplies in an impressively clean and organized surrounding has become the hallmark of Greenhurst.
Greenhurst carries a wide variety of trees, shrubs, evergreens, roses, perennials, ground covers, bedding plants, bulbs and house plants as well as a broad range of sundry items such as fertilizers, garden chemicals, seeds, books, pottery, statuary and a large selection of garden tools.
Unique to Greenhurst is the Home Highlights department. Our selection of home accents, gifts, collectibles, imports and furniture has become as popular as the nursery itself. This department changes with the seasons and has become a featured area of interest and part of the Greenhurst experience with our customers.
A few brands we carry to pique your interest: Root Candles, Mamma Ro’ & Vieti Dishware, Chef’n, Jellycat, San Diego Hats, Shiraleah, Woodstock Chimes, Good Directions Weather Vanes, Thymes, and Crabtree & Evelyn.
When Christmas comes, Greenhurst is also known throughout Southern Idaho as the premier holiday home and giftshop. When it’s time, it’s a must see and do featuring showrooms including Midwest, Christopher Radko, Fontanini Nativities and Old World Christmas.
Greenhurst is a member of the Garden Centers of America, Idaho Nursery Association, and Better Business Bureau.
