DCCC was established in 2004 by Gavin R. Powell M.D. with the goal of providing Canyon County residents with state of the art skincare. Dr. Powell is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Under his direction DCCC offers uncompromising personal service in the management of all diseases of the skin, including diagnosis and management of rare skin disorders, and skin cancer.
In addition to providing a broad range of medical and surgical dermatologic services, Dr. Powell and Laser Technician Letty Rodriguez offer a wide array of cosmetic treatments and services. Each treatment has been carefully selected to maximize patient safety while still providing measurable benefits for your skin.
Letty provides traditional aesthetic services including facials, and microdermabrasion. Letty is also certified and trained in the use of the Candela Gentlelase for laser hair removal, and the Candela Ellipse I2PL Intense Pulsed Light Machine for facial rejuvenation (Fotofacial) and the removal of “age spots” on the face, hands and arms.
Letty is trained to evaluate your skin and to help you choose skincare products that will meet your individual needs. For your convenience the Obagi and Epionce line of skincare products are available in the office.
Dr. Powell and his PA-C's are experienced in the use of Botox Cosmetic for the reduction of frown lines and crow’s feet, as well as, the use of injectable fillers such as Juvaderm, Radiesse and Restylane to restore volume and fill the deeper wrinkles of the face. All are experienced with the removal of benign skin lesions including benign moles, sebaceous hyperplasia and benign vascular lesions.
